Granted an A certificate with zero cuts and a slight change in dialogues, the Vidya Balan starrer film seems promising enough to break box office collection records on the very first day of release. The ‘fight’ has already begun and the movie, before it release has been declared ‘ tax free ‘ in Jharkhand. The multi-starer movie has its dialogues written in an unabashed manner reflecting the right atmosphere and thereby highlighting the authenticity of the time it has been set in. The action scenes only highlight the versatility of Vidya Balan as an actor and her dedication towards the plethora of characters she has portrayed time and again bagging appreciation for her acting skills. With Begum Jaan in her contribution list to Bollywood , Vidya Balan is likely to win the hearts of many for her flowing skills that can take the shape of any container they are poured in. The movie is expected to win not only appreciation but also many awards for breaking the deeply entrenched myths created by the society regarding women and their inner space. The trailer isn’t just a trailer but a crux of how strengthening the movie will be. Freedom will surely fight independence when Begum Jaan will play on loop in halls for weeks!
Its hard to believe that it’s based on a true story and that only marks how convincing the trailer is. Within the first week of its release, Begum Jaan is expected to collect about
50 Crore for it is surely an emotionally charged film.

Begum Jaan Trailer

In the patriarchal set up of the society,  the brothel at the partition has a world of ‘ she ‘and the women stand their ground with dignity. That itself is empowering enough to drag one to the theaters as soon as the movie releases. The amount of work that has been done on all the spheres of the movie is reflecting in every frame that plays on the screen. Begum Jaan is a collection of strong and powerful women who refuse to bout to the webs of men. It is not a man’s world (only) after all!

For those who love to grab popcorns while watching any movie, well, be ready to see your popcorns all over your seats for this movie is set to send its audience on an emotionally charged roller coaster ride.
Begum Jaan might land into criticism for portraying the gruesome reality but it is a must watch in our opinion for it seems to be legend- wait-diary!
