FANNEY KHAN: IS AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHAN ABOUT TO MAKE
HER SINGING DEBUT IN HER UPCOMING MOVIE?
This is a musical comedy produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra featuring Anil Kapoor as Fanney Khan. As per the reports of Mumbai Mirror the movie is based on a Dutch film Everybody’s Famous which was nominated for Academy Awards and depicts the same story with a slight twist to its plot. The first look of the film was released on social media with Anil in a new avatar. But the movie has lacked in grabbing much attention since then. The set for the will be set up in Mumbai in August and Anil will start working in it from the first week. Aishwarya will join him by the end of August. The movie shooting is set to wrap up by the end of October. “The team starts building the set in Mumbai next month and Anil will kick off shooting in the first week of August. Aishwarya joins him by the month-end and the film will wrap up in a start-to-finish schedule by October,” stated Prerna. Atul Manjrekar will direct Fanney Khan.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor are venturing in ‘Fanney Khan’ after 17 years of their film Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hai(2000). They have also worked together in Taal(1999) which was also a musical movie. But to the disappointment of the fans, this time they will not be working opposite of each other. But aish never makes her fans upset and this time to compensate for the loss of the interest of her fans she is trying something new and not so ordinary thing. There are rumors that Aishwarya is going to sing a song in the movie. Aish is a talented actress and if we believe the rumors, she will rock this one also if she takes up the task of singing. She has been given a highly stylized diva look in the movie. Her glamorous looks will blow away everybody’s mind. Prerna Arora told the daily, “Everyone will be surprised by Ash’s turn.”
The co-producer of the film, Prerna Arora, stated that “We go on the floors by the year-end. It is a happy, slice-of-life film. We approached Aishwarya for the part and are glad she agreed to come onboard.”
She further added, “The youth will connect with the movie, and her character will inspire them. We promise you’ve never seen Ash in a role like this before. It’s diametrically opposite from her earlier films like Jazbaa and Sarabjit. In Fanney Khan, she is a bundle of happiness and positive energy.”
